Luxury EDC Pocket Hank - Red & Black Vintage Italian Boucle Wool 5"x5"

From our Luxury Collection, its primary top piece features Real Vintage Deadstock Fabric. Many of these Deadstock Fabrics had been sitting in the deep warehouse cellars or tucked away in some old former company's attic. They come from collectors, and fashion industry warehouses from all parts of the world. We won't always know it's original manufacturer or long road to arrive in our inventory, but we will always only use Verifiable High-end Luxury Textiles that are carefully selected.

Most Hanks in EDC use a Cotton Synthetic Poly Blended Fabric for the Top Piece (Show Piece) that have "Printed" patterns and clipart on one side. This Red & Black Italian Boucle Wool is a Thick, Very Luxurious Fabric used in High-Fashion and Designer Textiles Articles. It's thicker and firmer than most EDC Hanks and works especially well with Higher-end EDC Gear.

The backing is made with our Top-Shelf Premium USA Made Microsuede with our Custom Printed Brand Name Pattern. Our Microsuede is soft, durable and thick compared to the more commonly used Microfiber. Read more about Microsuede below.

This Hank is double stitched with USA Manufactured thick and durable Sized 69 Tex-70 Bonded Nylon Thread by Maine Thread Company.

We also added a 3/8ths (roughly 10mm) USA Made Blackened Brass Grommet and Washer as well as a 3mm thick Premium USA Leather Squared Lace.

**** Exact Patterns will Vary as each piece is cut from a large roll of this material.

About Microsuede:

Microsuede is heavier and thicker than the more commonly used microfiber. It's called Microsuede as it's made to look and feel like Suede. Unlike actual Suede, Microsuede won't stick to metal, allowing easy cleaning action. Also, unlike Microfiber, Microsuede doesn't stick to skin or other fabrics.

During our extensive testing we noted that Microsuede was as effective on Glass and Hard Plastic Surfaces as Microfiber. However, we also noted that Microsuede was more effective on Metal and Wood Surfaces than Microfiber which given one of the primary purposes of an EDC Hank is to clean and maintain pocket knives, Microfiber was the best choice to use as our Backing
